is a weekly mixed queer party in the city featuring art.music.film.photography.performance.exposure. Located at BAR 13 on Tuesday nights, *Snapshot* attracts the most diverse crowd from all boroughs and gender-identities. We seek to showcase the talents of our crowd, our kids, ourselves, by throwing sexy, dirty, crazy parties soundtracked by some of the best dj’s among us.
Exit Through the Gift Shop is a definite must see. It reminds us of people we know and reflects an art world conundrum that has plagued the vanguard of the street art movement. Of course, selling out can be a work of art in and of itself as this documentary by Banksy surely proves. Celebrate Earth Day Outside
Start your Earth Day Celebration at 2PM, as part of our extended Warm Weather Happy Hour. From 2-9PM we’ll be offering a convenient meeting point for you and your friends to paint the town green.
And if you’re really interested in doing something green to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Earth Day, you can check out the NYU Street Fair, part of their NYU Earth Week program. The street fair runs (conveniently) until 2PM, at Washington Place between Greene and Washington Square East. Or visit the National Geographic blog (UK Edition) to learn more about green projects, including one featuring Thirteen’s own, Mariette Papic and her work with the Brooklyn’s, Dumpster Void.
